Rigid signs come in many forms and substrates, and are used for everything from “No Parking” to trade show presentations, to campaign signs.

MDO Signs

MDO (Sign grade plywood)

MDO is great for very rigid post and panel signs and stands up to wind very well. Each panel is up to 4x8’ and coated in a white waterproof sealant.

Composite Aluminum

Composite Aluminum

Composite Aluminum is made of two sheets of thin aluminum with a PVC core. This allows this material to very durable, rigid, and inexpensive.

Coroplast

Corrugated plastic

Basically a plastic cardboard, this material is great for outdoor use as it is waterproof and inexpensive. Used with an H-stake, these make great quick signs that can be placed in yards for campaigns, advertisements, etc.

Aluminum

Aluminum is a fantastic material for signage. Real estate signs, street signs and parking signs are just a few of the many uses. Aluminum signs typically come in 3 thicknesses: .040, .063, and .080. .040 is best for real estate signs that go in frames, and .080 is best for signs attached to poles.

Foam Board

Foam board, also referred to as FoamCore, is a rigid polystyrene foam coated with a thick paper exterior. It’s great for mounting photos or presentations, and comes in either black or white.
